Educational Technology facilitiators plan, design, and model effective learning environments and multiple experiences supported by technology. Educational technology facilitators:
A. Design developmentally appropriate learning opportunities that apply technology-enhanced instructal strategies to support the diverse needs of learners. Candidates:
1. Provide resources and feedback to teachers as they create developmentally appropriate curriculum units that use technology.
I have meet with teachers regularly within their team meetings, after school, professional development workshops as well as during school during technology integration. I have apprised them of new resources provided feedback and meet with them to talk technology on a regular basis.
2. Consult with teachers as they design methods and strategies for teaching computer/technology concepts and skills within the context of classroom learning.
I have meet with teachers during their subject specific meetings to share resources which have come to me from several different sources. Those resources were talked about with them as to how they can help those specific teachers enhance their teaching and their students learning within the classroom. I am consistently updating the resource websites which have been developed.
As I have learned about assistive technologies I have gotten in touch with teachers who would benefit from these technologies. Students who have these diverse needs have also had many different tools which are available to them. Technologies whcih have been found which can help students have been purchased and distributed to students. With the iPad we have been able to help students with easier and more convient assitive technologies.

As a technology facilitator I am consistently updating the teacher resource page which is located on the high schools website. As students begin research on anything either in my class or in the school I attempt to point students and teachers in the correct direction. When the school implemented a new evernote for evaluation initiative the site http://evernoteatshs.wikispaces.com/home was created to fit the needs of teachers within the school.
C. Identify and locate technology resources and evaluate them for accuract and suitability. Candidates:
1. Assist teachers as they identify and located technology resources and evaluate them for accuract and suitability based on district and state standards.

I assisted teachers with building in the use of several different applications within their classrooms. Teachers have asked for help when helping to build whole unit plans which I have been able to help with.

1. Provide teachers with a variety of strategies to use to manage student learning in a technology enhanced environment and support them as they implement the strategies.
To get help into the teachers hands as a teacher and facilitator we took the Tech Engineer class which normally helps with hardware issues we created a weebly which has helpful tips and tricks which are built in by students in the classroom. We as a technology department are also available every Monday after school from 2-4 to help with anything which is asked of us.

1. Assist teachers as they identify and apply instructional design principles assocated with the development of technology resources.
I have introduced the teachers to Google Forms which allows them to quickly and easily create formative assessments for the end of class periods. These can be used for exit tickets which can help to get feedback from students quickly and easily.
